LOCANDA
This big farmhouse was built in the beginning of the 19th century on a cliff of tuff by the prince Boncompagni Ludovisi in order to house his sharecroppers. The foundations belong to an ulterior construction, most probably a tower that was destroyed in the terrible earthquake of 1695.
The farm was entirely renovated in 2000 respecting the local architecture.
There are 9 spacious double - rooms with private bathrooms , and the possibility of adding a third bed in two of them..
The interior decoration is simple and natural. The big living room and the dining room have large fireplaces. Throughout the house CD players and IPod have been installed deliberately leaving out any television.
The farmhouse is surrounded by 10 acres of very old fruit trees and a large variety of aromatic herbs, not forgetting the swimming pool.
